New brand products from Paris Design Week

This time Paris Design Week is rich for plenty of novelties. Many brands have presented their new brand products at this trade show.

What is more, PARIS DESIGN WEEK is also the opportunity to visit the Italian brand’s Paris showroom and discover the new 2015 furniture collections by Cassina and lighting by Sammode. Thus, Cassina and Sammode presented the Light Lady installation designed by Normal Studio. Sammode Studio’s Elgar and Rimbaud lamps put Marco Zanuso’s Lady armchair in the limelight.

Except this, Knoll presented its Pilot Chairfor the first time in France. Pilot Chair is a contemporary and innovative armchair equally suitable for a range of different contexts, from home to office.
The surprising profile adopted by the back panel of this sleek armchair is distinctive in a domestic setting, but is just as appropriate as an executive chair. The first impression is that the seat appears to float; a feature that allows space for the seat to flex downwards and creates a uniquely sleek and timeless designer look.

In addition to this, Christofle launches Mood. What is it? The French manufacturer famous for its haute orfèvrerie range continues to challenge the accepted traditions of tableware. Christofle offers a completely new concept for our times: an aspirational, elliptical and dazzling object whose appearance suggests not even a hint of its function.

At this year’s PARIS DESIGN WEEK, Silvera Université presents: Absolu, Francesco Binfaré’s latest sofa for Edra: a perfect symbolic summation of the brand’s development in technology, aesthetics and formality.
