H2 Yacht Design is a yacht design firm established by Jonny Horsfield in 1994. Since then they have managed to solidify, little by little a formidable reputation regarding some amazing yacht design projects. CovetED Magazine is about to give you a sample of their style by taking you on a little tour inside one of H2’s latest projects: we’re talking about Galvas.

H2 Yacht Design is the type of company that prides itself in not having a “house style” replicated for each of their clients. Having started their careers with a focus mainly on yacht refit projects, the company led by designer Jonny Horsfield now counts with an incredible complete team with diverse skills, as well as a diverse portfolio that results of effective and cohesive teamwork.

This is reflected in projects such as Galvas. This is one of their latest motor yacht projects which so far has a couple of images of its exterior designed by H2 Yacht Design’s very own Jonny Horsfield. This 55m Steel Class platform was developed according to the owner’s own taste and lifestyle requirements which are reflected in quite a sporty interior.

It’s that very same exterior styling that defines the unique style of the nicknamed “Heesen sisterships”, this time adding in a mast painted in metallic silver. One must also define the unique dynamic lines in the superstructure and the hull windows that accentuate that very same special take that Jonny Horsfield has towards luxury yachts.

Not much is known about her interiors yet, however, aside from being handled by Reymond Langton Design, she also has enough space for accommodations of up to 12 guests in 6 cabins, housing up room for a team of around 13 crew members. Among other luxury items that this vessel has, we can also name elements such as six luxurious staterooms along with a selection of DKT Artworks pieces.
