Best hotels – Hotel Bulgari

The Bulgari Hotel garden, designed by landscape architect Sophie Agata Ambroise, offers several options that are ideal for meetings and private events, each with a capacity of 50 people and a truly unique exclusivity. Trees and hedges create a series of open-air ‘rooms’ that can be interconnected or partitioned off, with four slight shifts in elevation, three of which are planted with grass.

Best restaurants – Potafiori

Potafiori is a perfect Milan restaurant “for its fresh and sophisticated identity”, an unexpected layer that is slowly cloaking Milan with a number of hidden jewel destinations. Part flower shop, part cocktail bar and all day restaurant-cafe, the eclectic scene is governed over by Rosalba Piccini, a jazz singer and florist with bright red hair and a vivacious, winning personality.

Best Fashion Shops – Excelsior

What it comes to Milan’s best fashion shops, Nina Yashar has no doubt choosing Excelsior Milan, where high fashion, food, design and beautiful architecture meet!

Nina Yashar’s selection for “Best Showrooms” is explained as “a place of timeless elegance in the historic heart of Milan”! This is the perfect choice for those who like to travel and see Milan historic places blending with the urban trends!

Best Fashion Shops – Nonostante

Curated by designer Antonio Marras, this quiet boutique fashion shop carries his own designs along with an elegant selection of accessories including jewellery from Monica Castiglioni.

Best Furniture/Lighting shops – Corso Monforte

For Marco Piva, it is a special place “as for the lighting, I am not thinking to a showroom, but to a street, Corso Monforte, the “Road of Light” in Milan, where there are some of the most important Italian brands in Lighting Design, such as Artemide, Flos, Fontana Arte, Luceplan.

Best Showrooms – Nilufar

It is true to say that Nilufar conquers every Milan tourist, and in Marco Piva’s words “a shop that was launched last year, that has an imposing, dramatic and yet practical space, studied to merge function and style, with a typical Milanese lifestyle.”
