Bulgari Hotel Shanghai Will Transform Most Cosmopolitan City in China ⇒ Are you thinking about flying to Shanghai? We have good news for you! China’s most cosmopolitan city, Shanghai, will have a new standard for luxury accommodation with the Bulgari Hotel Shanghai opening on Wednesday 20th June 2018.
After the announcement of the opening of a new property in Paris until 2020, the luxury brand, that started in 2001 as a union between the luxury Italian brand and hotel group Marriott International, has concluded the building in the city of Bulgari Hotel Shanghai.
Set on a scenic riverbank and just a few minutes from the iconic Bund and Shanghai City Centre, The Bulgari Hotel Shanghai will be part of the visionary SUHE CREEK project. The Hotel features sweeping views of the Bund and of Pudong’s dramatic skyline.
Balancing nature, contemporary design and heritage architecture, Bulgari Hotel Shanghai combines a 48-floor tower, a majestically restored Chamber of Commerce Shanghai building completed in 1916 and lush gardens which surround the whole area.
The Hotel will have 82 rooms, 19 of which are exquisite Suites, that will offer an intimate ambiance and personalized service with an extraordinary design, in the top eight floors of a 48-story tower that is also home to The Bulgari Residences. Besides that, the property will also dispose of a 2,000-square-metre Bulgari Spa and fitness centre, and a glamorous 500-square-meter Bulgari Ballroom with triple-height ceilings, that will complete the hotel’s features.
Designed to be one of the city’s premier destinations, the Hotel is also home to the rooftop Il Ristorante – Niko Romito and Il Bar, which are destined to become some of the most fashionable venues in Shanghai, La Terrazza on the rooftop, offering breathtaking views of The Bund and Pudong, and the Bao Li Xuan restaurant, serving exquisite Cantonese classics and local Shanghainese specialties in the historical atmosphere of the Chamber of Commerce Shanghai building adjacent to the Hotel tower.
As for the other Bulgari Hotels and Resorts, the renowned Italian architectural firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, signed the hotel’s interior design and created a glamorous contemporary masterpiece by blending the distinctive Italian refinement of Bulgari with rich layers of Shanghai history.
The first property of the luxury brand opened in Milan, in 2004, and the second in Bali, in 2006. London received the third property in 2012, and after five years Beijing and Dubai got a Bulgari Hotel in 2017. After the Bulgari Hotel Shanghai, the Hotel will open properties in Moscow, Paris and Tokyo.
