CovetED wants to tell you about Studio Gang! With a wide range of people, from designers, administration and support, business development, etc. Studio Gang is an architecture and urban design practice headquartered in Chicago with offices in New York, San Francisco, and Paris. Founded by Jeanne Gang, they work as a group of more than 100 co-workers with different functions that use design as a medium to connect people to each other, not only to the environment but to their community as well. They put their effort into experimentation, strong research and collaboration that goes beyond the traditional design fields, this has resulted in an award-winning body of work.
Architect Jeanne Gang is the main responsible for the development of Studio Gang, being its founder. Her forward-looking approach to design, mixed with the chase of new technical and material possibilities as questioning the role of designers in society has made her the distinguished leader that the Studio needed. The preoccupation of creating systems where the community interacts between itself and the environment is imminent in her work.
“We collaborate closely with our clients, expert consultants, and specialists from a wide range of fields to design and realize innovative projects at multiple scales: architecture, urbanism, interiors, and exhibitions. We help people, organizations, and cities design their futures.”
“If Gang has a signature, it’s not stylistic but philosophical: Her architecture is an ongoing negotiation with nature,” writes Justin Davidson for New York Magazine in his feature on Studio Gang’s growing portfolio in New York.
It is our mission to inspire you daily, we hope that this becomes possible and successive by providing the dedication and forward-looking approach mindset of Studio Gang, alongside with more quality content, thank you!
