Maison et Objet 2015 Paris has given us a lot of reasons to say… we are excited to get here in January for Maison et Objet 2016 Paris! Why? Paris Design Agenda witnessed standout furniture design trends for home decor and key products. Covetedition always look forward to the trends at Maison & Objet – it’s the kind of design event where you can find everything for the home, from upholstery, to bedroom collections, art…endless inspirations! Adding to this, Maison & Objet Paris, is not only is a good place to get inspired by gorgeous installations and futuristic brands but also to confirm design trends and have a clear idea of what will hit the furniture and lighting stores within a few months…but already with eyes on Maison et Objet 2016!
Below, Daily Design News selected a short list of furniture design brands that you’ll fall in love…easily!
1- TOM DIXON
The new notebooks launched by Tom Dixon, who has been investing in smaller accessories for the home for a few seasons now, are divine. We love that, even in a small object like this, you can spot some of the designer’s trademarks – beautiful colour combinations, metallic surfaces and geometric forms.
Vitra, a brand synonymous for iconic design that producing true objects of genius for interiors addicts, is diving into the “small is better” trend too and launched a series everyday items – think matches and napkins – decorated with Alexander Girard prints originally created in the 1950s and 1960s. We specially like the “Home Sweet Home” prints, as it taps into another trend spotted at the fair: warm and welcoming.
3 – HAY
HAY, it has mastered the art of transforming everyday objects into beautiful decorative accessories that really spruce up a composition or room. Just look at these pencils, casually arranged together – isn’t your desk crying out for such a cool pot of gorgeousness?
San Francisco-based designer Tina Frey is always on our Maison radar, so it’s no surprise we’re obsessed with her resin homeware. So it was a nice surprise to see that she is translating her organic shapes into prints for greeting cards. Another great example of how to jump into a new product category without losing your style identity.
Showcasing a contemporary home décor fulfilled with mid-century modern furniture, let yourself be surrounded by BRABBU’s intense way of living. Have a look at the photos of BRABBU’s stand at Maison et Objet 2015 which is located on Hall 5B (Stand L25/M26).
When we said you can find everything for the home at Maison & Objet, we meant it. Washi tape – the DIY bloggers’ best friend – was one of the highlights at Nomess Copenhagen, proving you can find good design no matter what the product.
Delightfull is an usual exhibitor at Maison et Objet Paris. The brand has established in the last few years a strong reputation in the lighting design world. This year, Delightfull is premiering the “Essentials Collection” – a collection of mid century furniture that completes Deligthfull’s lighting offer.
