Get to Know the Exclusive “Dreamer’s Lounge” at Holiday House LondonThursday 1 February 2018
Get to Know the Exclusive “Dreamer’s Lounge” at Holiday House London – The award-winning architect and interior designer Philippe Maidenberg and Supertramp’s founding member Roger Hodgson have come together to collaborate, for the first time, in the creation of a music-inspired showroom at the Holiday House London. Join CovetED and let’s find out more about this project.
Philippe Maidenberg is one of the most prominent architects in Paris with more than 45 hospitality projects in France alone. Inspired by his own passion for music, Maidenberg conversed with Hodgson to develop an idyllic and exclusive space for the creation of music.
This was the base collaboration that led to the creation of the amazing “Dreamer’s Lounge”, a space in the Holliday House London, a social and non-profit project that helped gain funds in November and December of 2017 in the fight against breast cancer.
The poetic attic space incorporates emerging technology including VR, 3D surfaces, an interactive musical experience, a sculptural lighting design, and the legendary MAH JONG Sofa from Roche Bobois. It was a heaven of music, design and fashion.
This showroom space was a success and helped a noble cause. It’s expected that this Dreamer’s Lounge will reopen in the future, so if you didn’t visit it in 2017, you may be able to visit it in 2018 but this room will probably suffer a revamp until then! It would be a real shame if it didn’t open this year because it’s so spectacular!
