Alexander Brenner Architects Designs Cubic Styled Luxury VillaWednesday 5 December 2018
Alexander Brenner Architects Designs Cubic Styled Luxury Villa ⇒ Alexander Brenner Architects were the masterminds behind the design of a majestic luxury villa located in the south of Stuggart, in Germany. The astonishing SU House was decorated to the very last detail taking into consideration the owner’s devote passion to art. Featuring a cubic style, the house presents a simple decor yet full of sophisticated and luxurious accents as well as an extraordinary combination of shapes and forms.
As soon as you enter the site, you are marvelled by the exceptional landscape design. A massive silvery garage structure leads the way to the hidden beauties of the house, from a welcomingly alluring covered terrace area to a sensuous garden in a rounded and nature-oriented form. The pebble stone flooring is out of this world and merges perfectly between the exterior and interior areas, not to mention the pool terrace that can be accessed through a stunning three-dimensional modelled walkway. A roof terrace provides optimised views of the city.
Going inside, the entrance hall presents a lengthy sculptural door and right ahead a massive dining table is lit by an enormous skylight. Floor-to-ceiling glazing allows the family to have spectacular views to the outside. Throughout the dining area, a series of rare and unique works of art can be found.
The group of architects created a functional and elegant kitchen that can either be an opened or closed space, courtesy of a wide sliding door. The decor of the living area is further enhanced by a broad fireplace and a full-width skylight that beautifully illuminates the surrounding sculptures and paintings. Another outstanding skylight and a Catellani & Smith pendant lamp give a lustrous glow to the architecturally styled stairwell.
The master bedroom, dressing room and bathroom set were designed to be interconnected. The bedroom is comprised of a fireplace, a home theatre system, a custom-made bed with silky linens, among countless other sophisticated details. In the master bathroom, warm colours reign with the assistance of oak and bronze elements as well as natural stone Tauerngruen surfaces and inlaid floors.
Moreover, the house is also well-appointed with a spa and sauna area where warm red and gold tones give it an introverted and whimsical touch. This area also features a swimming pool whose floor is made of iridescent glass mosaic. Yet again, the architects opted for floor-to-ceiling glazing in order to provide mesmerising views to the garden, thus improving significantly the home experience.
In conclusion, this exclusive design project has a unique aesthetic value due to its three-dimensional and artistic character. Alexander Brenner ensured that the client’s needs and desires would be carried out, creating a complete residential masterpiece – that thoroughly reflects modern architecture and art – in one of the most beautiful locations in Germany.
