The show takes place during the annual London Design Festival and features more than 200 leading global design brands across dedicated trade and retail areas. As the leading destination for design, arts and culture during the London Design Festival, visitors were able to experience breathtaking installations, participate in creative workshops, indulge in a spot of retail therapy, engage in lively talks and much more. Renault UK – Life Designed
Renault will build a bespoke temporary structure which will house two feature projects; 1) the results of a design competition with Central Saint Martins’ students, and 2) the multi award-winning Renault TreZor Concept car, shown in the UK for the first time.
Gateways – Granary Square
Turkishceramics commissions Adam Nathaniel Furman for bespoke project ‘Gateways’ – a colourful, ceramic installation celebrating Turkey’s rich artisinal history.
Bloomon – Granary Square
Covered in foliage inside and out, bloomon will create a whimsical walk underneath a canopy of flowers with a pastel coloured passageway.
Remote Possibilities – Granary Square
Welcoming visitors to the show, three glass box pavilions by new initiative Remote Possibilities will house the show’s Box Office and be launched at the show.
Blackbody – The Crossing
OLED lighting specialists Blackbody will return to present a stunning installation in collaboration with Haviland showcasing the ‘Helen, Light & Porcelain’ bespoke chandelier.

designjunction Talks Programme – The Stanley Building
For 2017, designjunction presents a new talks programme with lively discussions and debates, engaging topical issues around the shows theme ‘Where Design Meets’. Held at The Office Group, designed by Studio Downie Architects, the two-day event includes sessions from high profile designers and creative brands.
CSM Workshops – The Crossing
Central Saint Martins presented two free workshops during designjunction. Drawing for Design with Ilga Leimanis and Frankensteining workshop with Rod Judkins.
bloomon workshops – Granary Square
Combine your love of learning about flowers with design. Join the bloomon floral workshop to learn how to create your own flower arrangement. This workshop will take place inside the floral installation designed by bloomon, a space filled with cascading flowers and only created for four days. Workshops will take place 11:30-12:30, 14:00-15:00 and 15:30-16:30 on Saturday 23 September.
New London Neighbourhood Tour – King’s Cross
This tour highlights the dramatic renewal of this key two-station transport hub, which kick-started the regeneration of King’s Cross Central, 67 acres of old railway and industrial land being transformed into a vibrant new neighbourhood for living, working, learning and play.
