The extraordinarily talented singer and actress, Cher has two gorgeous Californian estates which will be the subject of today’s article. Described as the Goddess of Pop, Cher is renowned for her exuberant and creative style which is obviously reflected in her way of living. From her Victorian subdued home in Malibu, designed by Ron Wilson to the Indian-inspired decor in her Los Angeles duplex which she helped decorate with the assistance of renowned interior designer, Martyn Lawrence-Bullard.
Malibu Home
Designed by Ron Wilson, Cher’s Malibu Home is simply amazing and displays major Southwestern influences. In regards to their long-lasting relationship, the actress commented that “the way we work is really strange, I’ll tell him that I want something that doesn’t exist—a style that isn’t a style—and then he’ll make it exist for me.”
This astonishing bedroom highlights stone chairs and ottoman by the late Michael Taylor. Resembling tree barks, the designer opted for a sumptuous bed fabric by J. Robert Scott.
The living room has several antique and European furniture pieces from 1880’s, this was something that Cher herself was extremely passionate about, having bought the majority of the pieces.
This stunning infinity-edge pool displays standing bronze oil lamps are beneath arches that are supported by columns with wood vine carvings. It is the idyllic place for the legend to rest and have the most mesmerising views of the Pacific Ocean. The Egyptian sculpture furthers enhances the aesthetic value of this setting.

Los Angeles Duplex
The master suite exudes antique luxury by featuring 19th-century Indian tapestry and carved elephant as well as 18th century Tibetan Monk statue.
Main living space designed by Lawrence-Bullard who created a relaxing and comfortable setting for the renowned actress.
Hanging Chinese lanterns and Mashrabiyas make for a wonderful setting.
This majestic bed designed by Bullard was conceived using antique Indian panels while the bedside tables were made from antique inlaid doors. The Bronze lanterns are reflected by distressed mirrors and the limestone flooring is absolutely stunning.
