Everything changed in 2020, and that includes design as well. Most design fairs we used to attend with such enthusiasm were cancelled or postponed, but it seems Maison et Objet was an exception. This year, however, the main change will be simple: we’re going digital! One of the leading design fairs in the world, Maison et Objet 2020 will be online this year and we’re looking back at the highlights of previous years, as well as what to expect in this innovative edition! CovetED will let you know everything about this September special edition of Maison et Objet.
From the 4th to the 18th of September of 2020, Maison et Objet is bringing you an online experience with digital showrooms, design talks and much more! But before we dive in on what you should expect this year, let’s take a look at previous year’s editions, back when it was traditionally held in Paris!
Maison et objet was the place to go to discover new trends in the world of design, as well as the best furnishing and lighting brands with their newest collections. Most importantly, it enabled design experts to establish important relations with clients and partners, and celebrate design together!
The most luxurious brands in the world come together to present their newest and most incredible furniture and lighting pieces. You’ll see many of those pieces in some of the best interior design projects in the world.
Covet House At Maison et Objet 2020
When it comes to Covet House stand at Maison et Objet, you can always expect new furniture pieces, luxury design (and also, an incredible bar filled with the best Portuguese drinks and food). Keeping it serious, Covet House always leaves a mark, from incredible curated pieces to the presentation of the Portuguese roots through craftsmanship pieces, the brand always has a way of making everyone fall in love with Portuguese craftsmanship and design, and also the possibility of customization options that allow you to be creative with your projects.
Let’s have a throwback to the best moment of Maison et Objet 2020: Back in January Covet House presented the new brand Caffe Latte. Caffe Latte is a newborn brand that has officially launched here at Maison et Objet 2020 and we can say it is already making some waves with its modern approach to interior design. With a full collection of furniture, lighting and accessories, Caffe Latte has a remarkable ability to fit into any style of interiors due to its neutral aesthetic, minimalist and functional design.
Design brands’ stands were not the only exciting thing to see at Maison et Objet though… you could find anything from design talks to workshops and even the designer of the year’s creations. This year’s designer is Michael Anastassiades with its emblematic lighting designs that still amazes us every time.
Instead of walking through the halls of Maison et Objet in Paris, you’ll be doing it all online, with digital showrooms that provide stage snapshots that invite you to delve into the luxury brands’ newest collections. These virtual stands will be amazing to discover so don’t miss out on it!
Design Talks will still happen, a place where design experts can come together and analyze social shifts and new ways of working, exploring what’s hot and what’s not, identifying up-and-coming talent, and tomorrow’s problem solvers… the event’s expert web talks are here to help you!
And Much More… STAY TUNED
