At the upcoming edition of the renowned furniture fair, iSaloni 2017, from 4th to 9th April, Italian industrial company, Flexform, who specialises in producing highly crafted sofas and furnishings, paying maximum attention to culture design, is scheduled to present at Hall 5, stand E11-12, its astonishing Isabelle collection that consists of dining chairs, armchairs and a fully upholstered sofa.
Moreover, the worldwide leading superpower in the sector of furnishings follows a philosophy of incorporating a series of core values into each project or product that reflect their culture and knowledge, from Made in Italy to timeless elegance, to comfort, to coherent designs, to contemporary characters, among many others, their goal lies on conceiving high-quality and mesmerising pieces to the world.

ISABEL is one of the most accomplished collections of the Italian brand designed by Carlo Colombo, having started with a series of dining chairs which were quite successful. Presently, an upholstered sofa and two new armchairs – one with a linear form and covered with hide leather whereas the other comes with soft cushions – were added to the already magnificent collection.
Known for a notorious design and the use of precious materials, the luxurious Isabelle is fully covered in cowhide fabric displaying essential lines that are quite expressive. “The back is an elegant and enveloping metal chassis covered in cowhide that extends into the armrests, flaring slightly at the ends to generate a small fold in the leather, like a light origami.”

At the prominent design fair, the new sofa will be exhibited in a unique double covering, for the seat a brown testa di moro velvet while for the back an exceptional Havana cotton fabric.
According to Carlo Colombo, “The project includes a family of products marked by the choice and use of noble materials like cowhide and leather, crafted with great attention to detail.”
The designer goes on to say that “The collection expresses absolute values of design and elegance through the ability to dialogue with and interpret the path of design. The purity of the materials and forms make these objects almost museum pieces, which silently dance in the void, tempting the observer to use them.”
