The Grand Opening of Venice’s Homo Faber Event Is Finally Here ⇒ The Highly anticipated Homo Faber event has finally opened its doors today and is ready to show to the world the best of European Craftsmanship. Organised by the prestigious Michelangelo Foundation, the event’s main mission is to craft a more human future. It is currently taking place at Fondazione Giorgio Cini, in Venice, Italy where a group of master artisans, designers and creators are showcasing the beauty, value and meaning of craftsmanship. Today, CovetED offers a sneak peek inside the marvellous event that is giving the spotlight to arts that aren’t appreciated enough in our contemporary world.
The beauty of Homo Faber is that it doesn’t have a sole focus, it encompasses a wide range of disciplines that really transcend the importance of craftsmanship. Featuring 4,000 square metres of space, visitors have the chance to see exquisite pieces, including jewellery, artwork, bespoke designs and accessories, cars, decorative tableware, sculptures. etc as well as innovative installations and live showcases of artisans practising their craft.
Homo Faber offers a series of unique experiences that, at the same time, come together as one. These beautiful ensembles will take you on a journey through Europe’s most diverse regions and talents.
Homo Faber will run until September 30, so there’s still plenty of time to visit all this mesmerizing exhibitions and installations that give the spotlight to the hard work of passionate designers, artisans, architects and curators. It is all about the power and value of real human engagement.
