Don’t Miss Maison et Objet at Paris Design Week 2018Thursday 16 August 2018
Don’t Miss Maison et Objet at Paris Design Week 2018 ⇒ The biggest event happening during Paris Design Week 2018 is Maison et Objet, taking place from 7-11 September. The ultimate lifestyle and design event returns to Paris with a new challenge, completely changing its structure, more specifically its sectors: Maison and Objet. These two sectors will be presented with a brand-new perspective, improving the journey and experience of visitors and professionals alike during the event.
Maison et Objet is the greatest event for professionals working in the art and design industries. The lifestyle show brings together an all-around product offering. From decoration to design, furniture, accessories, textiles, fragrances and even the world of children. The styles coexist in a multifaceted way, throughout the inventive show design which gives life to the spaces. This extraordinary diversity is in line with the varied expectations of global markets. With each session, the great lifestyle platform, at the intersection of business and creativity, reveals solutions to visitors from around the world in search of uniqueness.
This September edition brings a clearer perspective of the two main areas: Maison, where you can explore 4 different universes and find the best decoration and home interior solutions organised by style; and Objet, with 7 sectors that present the best objects and decorative accessories organised by product family. This strategy has the purpose of acquiring new visits, new audacious and intuitive purchasing experiences, inspirational and surprising itineraries and new places for sharing.
The most amazing thing about Maison et Objet Paris is that it’s constantly reinventing itself, year after year! In every edition, whether it is in January or September, it brings new ideas and inspirations, offering its guests a whole new experience. In order to become easier to scout new ideas and inspirations, Maison et Objet has also altered its Maison sector, which will now be divided into four new realms to be explored: Unique & Eclectic, Today, Forever, and Craft. The Objet sector now has the following seven categories: Cook & Share, Smart Gift, Fashion Accessories, Kids & Family, Home Accessories, Home Fragrance, and Home Linen.
Each year, Maison et Objet celebrates the Designers of the Year and Rising Talents. An inspired talent detector, it picks out emerging talents and celebrates the values of style. This edition’s Designer of the Year will be Belgium’s Ramy Fischler, and the Rising Talent Section will be dedicated to Rising Talents for Lebanon!
This edition will feature several luxury exhibitors and we have to highlight the presence of notorious brands like Covet House and PullCast (Covet House Hall 7 – Stand B52 – C51), Brabbu (Brabbu Hall 6 – Stand H38 – I37), DelightFull (DelightFull Hall 6 | Stand N112 – O111), Essential Home (Essential Home Hall 6 | Stand N112 – O111), Imperial Line (Hall 6 – Stand H35 – I31), Miacara (Hall 6 – Stand H115), EnoStudio (Hall 6 – Stand H16), NOR11 (Hall 6 – Stand J89) and Frama (Hall 6 – Stand H38).
