In 2019, the New York-based designer Daun Curry has been announced as the winner of the highly prestigious Andrew Martin Interior Designer of the Year Award, joining highly prestigious names lime Kelly Hoppen, Nicky Haslam and Rose Uniacke that also won this award. But more recently, Daun Curry combined forces with the incredible bespoke jewelry brand Jemma Wynne to create a stunning showroom for this amazing brand!

For a little background, Jemma Wynne jewelry was founded and produced in New York City by Jenny Klatt Siscovick and Stephanie Wynne Lalin in 2008, and has since been sold in luxurious retailers such as Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Net-A-Porter, Moda Operandi, and Fivestory. Daun was commissioned to create an intimate, gorgeous New York showroom to host buyers and clients—those of which include celebrity fans such as Rihanna, Olivia Palermo, Reese Witherspoon, Rihanna, Mila Kunis, and Scarlett Johansson to name a few.

Daun Curry designed a showroom that exemplifies Jemma Wynne’s rich aesthetic—decadent with a playful twist. The entry hallway sets the mood—deep purple painted walls, stained violet-colored floors, and a fun, striped Paul Smith runner from The Rug Company leading towards a pop-art neon sign that states “It was all a dream” entice visitors to continue through. The bright and airy space itself exudes a strong nod to fashion infused with a casual ease. Furniture upholstered in gorgeous, jewel-toned fabrics meld with graphic patterns and strong metals. In one room, ombre walls with a pop-inflected art piece by artist Jeremy Penn add to the allure.

A nearby conference room which also features the eye-catching ombre walls seen throughout most of the showroom showcases the work of artist Miljan Suknovic, enhanced by an Eero Saarinen Tulip Marble Oval Table, a Kelly Wearstler rug, and a vintage chandelier. To display the jewelry, Curry created gorgeous vignettes with custom-designed jewelry cases in teal and a metal band, Artek pendant lights overhead, and a floor stained in another complementary shade of blue. The private office space has an airy, cheerful vibe, with lilac-painted walls, a striking chandelier from Arteriors, and desks from Ligne Roset.
