Let’s start with the showcase of the Bespoke Collection. Described as essential, versatile and elegant, bourgeois and contemporary, the Bespoke Collection of Antonio Lupi is thought for the bathroom but that can easily redefine the living area. Technological and important details, functional and aesthetical elements that define a style. From the fronts to the surfaces and from the handles to the hinges each component of the project is designed to create unique details and a perfect balance of the composition.

All of this is Bespoke, a furniture system which brings a message of elegance in the bathroom as well as a project that conveys to space and to those who experience the taste for beauty. Each material is expressed in its essence and each texture adds value to the composition. A plurality of materials that speak the same language refined combinations that establish a virtuous dialogue between all surfaces. Cabinets, sink units, hanging cabinets that can reach a height of 210 cm. A modular and versatile system that ensures maximum freedom in creating compositions. Each configuration expresses the ability to become a system and shows the attention of the company in translating the idea of an exclusive project into a tailored and personalized space.

Another piece that was highlighted at the Antonio Lupi stand at Maison et Objet2018 was the Calice Washbasin. After Strappo, Silenzio and Soffio research continues for Antonio Lupi on the theme of integration between sink and wall, on the ability to give continuity to the vertical surface in order to describe a basin that welcomes water in a fluid and enveloping space.

With Calice, the traditional sink is developed with elegance and formal cleansing for a collection that can once again thrill. The balance of the volumes, the depths of the column and basin, the perfect connection between the parts. A project of harmony and dialogue between the elements, a set of absolute joints and calibrated curves, a comparison between natural and artificial, between organic and architectural design that give birth to a precious object, a glass in Corian, which enhances the water that it contains.

Finally let’s talk about another washbasin: The Introverso. This stunning and unique piece was designed by Paolo Ulian. The idea of this washbasin was born by observing the workmanship of blank marble sculptures, in which the three-dimensional shape of the sculpture is outlined in steps and various depths of a diamond disc managed by a numerical control machine.

The inner core of the project is the idea that has accompanied from the start the project by Paolo Ulian for Antonio Lupi. The marble block loses its monolithic appearance and is transformed into something ethereal, transparent, enclosing a secret nucleus. A soul that can remain hidden, revealing the subtle play of light, or can be revealed slowly by breaking the edges of the blades. When the block is blank, thin marble slats, which are formed by cutting, are broken with a hammer so as to bring out the raw sculpture that has formed in its interior. The end result? A unique bathroom piece, because one piece of marble isn’t equal to another.
