MOOOI opened a shop in New YorkThursday 6 August 2015
Just at the time New York had celebrated NY Design week, on the 14th of May, the city got other important occasion – the Dutch brand Moooi crossed the ocean just to be in the middle of US fashion and design center. It’s the first showroom and brand store that supposed to introduce a brand new world of design opportunities to fabulous Manhattan area.
The area of new store is quite spectacular. Not to mention that the MOOOI flagship is in the really central location, moreover the neighbors of it is an iconic Chrystler and Emprire State building. The Manhattan’s are called Nomad has recently expanded with commercial places suitable for stylish brands, so luxurious hotels, quality restaurants and cutting-edge brand store surrounds MOOOI making the brand even more delighted of the possibility to have their store here.
Casper Vissers, the CEO and Founder of MOOOI reveals that New York is the capital of the US and Manhattan is the place to be for an upscale design brand. He believe that the brand need a clear first hand representation of who they are and what they stand for. And who doubt that it’s the perfect place to do so.
Talking about interior, Casper Vissers points out that its eclectic atmosphere, connected to the cultural world, and its interesting designs will certainly inspire all sorts of people and bring and addition to the design world of Manhattan. He also reveals that behind every product exposed there is a great story and it will be translated to the people by the best trained personnel.
The first inspiration you can find just near the entrance door: the shop window shows up an inspirational home interior which won’t let anyone to pass it. More than this, plenty of vivid carpets of different shape and sizes give the final touches to the whole interior of the shop.
As Casper Vissers wants to believe – New York is just the first step on the west coast and the other goal of the company is to place their store in California. But for today MOOOI first want to impress the New York’s audience with unique design products and its love for life, fun, culture stories and new experience.
