The design company was invited to participate in an event titled Design House. The type of space they decided to take on consisted originally of a master bedroom, so Comité de Proyectos decided to turn it into something totally different. More than a relaxing space, they took this chance to create their own personal spa.
For this take on the interior design, Comité de Proyectos decided to envision a space where anyone could take a moment to breathe in and relax from the overdose of information and stimuli. With that, elements such as the wooden floor, the plain face brick, the creamy finish on walls were picked with the idea of selecting earthy elements that suggest a connection to nature.
It has a slight mid-century touch to it indeed. Both in the colours and in the furniture styles that paint this lovely scenario. There’s a lovely contrast created with the green velvet against the brick and frames within the seating area. It’s a rather unusual take on a project by Comité de Proyectos seen that they are often associated with creating unique scenarios with an industrial setting.
When it comes to the bathroom, we can point to the lovely centrepiece: a sink with countertop and base made on terrazzo. This comes accompanied with a set of reflective mirrors with led light that creates a lovely ambience to the area. This project is one of the main reasons that have allowed Comité de Proyectos to be featured in publications such as Vogue México, Deezen, Vertical Paris, Index Design, among many more.
