The Zorlu Residence, in essence, is a project by of a Merve Kahraman bedroom residence in Midtown, New York. Elements such as the wide white oak floors combined with neutral colours and brick tones are very revealing of the main conducting line behind the final conception.
There was a full renovation of the building, including a whole entire renovation of the windows, kitchen, bathroom and custom closets. In order to take full advantage of the space, Merve Kahraman also adopted the concept of multifunctional room spaces. The living room, dining room, and kitchen coexist in the same room, giving it a unique and lovely vibe.
Aside from the idea and advantage of using a small space in a smart way to have a functional and bright apartment, Merve Kahraman also included within the whole home a series of custom furniture designed by her own studio, alongside with some careful selected materials and lighting.
