Founded in 1882, the company is currently managed by the third generation of the family with Giovanni and Michele Gervasoni. Kris Van Puyvelde and Frank Boschman, the founders of Royal Botania, first met at university in Antwerp, Belgium, while studying to become engineers. 25 years later, Royal Botania employs over 800 people worldwide, with over 50 located at the head office situated in the same city, Antwerp. Over the years, the brand has earned an acclaimed reputation for creating the most refined, diverse choice of outdoor collections in the world. The individual ranges use a wide selection of different materials, as well as being designed and manufactured to offer a perfect blend of precision and functionality.

SLIDE was founded in 2002 by Giuseppe Colonna Romano, inspired by his thirty years of experience in manufacturing plastic resins. The SLIDE collection comprises furniture characterised by an exceptional use of light, ideal for indoor and outdoor settings, with a clean and ironic design. With registered headquarters and production premises in Buccinasco, on the outskirts of Milan, in Italy, SLIDE was the very first design company to produce luminous furniture, elements that became a key to success, soon exported worldwide. Vincent Sheppard has been designing and manufacturing indoor and outdoor furniture with exceptional seating comfort since 1992. The company is the worldwide market leader in ‘Lloyd Loom’ furniture, a technique where Kraft paper is twisted around a metal wire and woven into unique furniture pieces. From the beginning, the brand made a clear choice to work with natural resources as much as possible for the production of its furniture. The beauty of natural products forms the base of every one of its designs. Today, Vincent Sheppard furniture is exported to more than 50 countries. The headquarters are in Belgium, while the main production plant is located in Indonesia, a country known for its rich tradition in weaving.
