Salon Art + Design 2019 will be filled with some incredible events that will please the most avid interior design lovers of all areas. There will be many influential personalities in the interior design scenario that will mark their presence in this incredible event.  CovetED will be showing you the top events not to miss in this regard, along with a couple of top IDs who will have a weighty presence.

 

Booth Talks and Salon Conversations

These are the parts of Salon Art + Design 2019 in which ideas will be treated and discussed among the top players of art and design industries. You can expect a variety of topics from some of the top players in these markets, which is why we brought you three special events not to miss during the weekends of the event.

 

These are the Main Events not to miss at Salon + Art Design
On November 16th at Booth C4, Todd Merril Studio will be hosting an event which will count with Alex Roskin, Brecht Wright Gander, Jean-Luc Le Mounier, Lionel Jadot and Stefan Rurak. These five names will be aiming to create a new visual vocabulary while advancing long-held, established artistic boundaries. Not only will you be able to meet these artists, but also have a look at some of the projects of Todd Merril.

During the 16th of November, there will be a panel with the intervention by interior design legends  Achille SalvagniAmy Lau, and Robert Stilin. It will be moderated by design journalist Pilar Viladas in a conversation regarding the ways in which designers create their interiors for collectors of art and design. It will be an enlightening conversation seen that “art” and “design” are becoming increasingly blurred.

As the name clearly states, this salon conversation happening on the 17th of November will be focused on the importance of classical designs, across all types of styles. The initiative will be counting with the intervention of Emily Collins (present Director of the Gallery at 200 Lex) and designers Lizzie Bailey (Story Street Studio), Kati Curtis (Kati Curtis Design), Philip Gorrivan (Philip Gorrivan Designs) and Brett Helsham (Brett Helsham Designs).

Aside from some of the talks we’ve mentioned, there will also be a couple of incredible tours around Salon Art + Design 2019 conducted by worldwide famous designers and architects. We’ve picked some of the most famous faces with which you can enjoy a personalized tour throughout the event. Born and raised in Portugal, Alexandra Champalimaud received her early education in Switzerland and England. She later completed her design training at the Espirito Santo Foundation in Lisbon, Portugal and ended up founding her design firm in Montreal. She’s known for her dynamic intellectual curiosity as well as an absence of pretence to her work.

Amy Lau is often mentioned worldwide for turning the seductively morbid show “Dexter” into a grim reality. She’s often inspired by the beauty of natural materials and landscapes in her work, having an aesthetic that embraces both art and design.

Raised in North Carolina, Kristen started giving her most relevant steps at the prestigious visual arts program at the North Carolina School of the Arts. After spending some time in New York studying at Parsons School of Design, she would end up opening her New York-based firm, Kristen McGinnis Design, Inc., in 2005.

Lastly, we have Richard Rabel, often known as the mind behind Richard Rabel Interiors + Art, Ltd. It’s a Manhattan studio that provides interior residential design, decorating and art advising services. The American Designer is also a fan of classical decor accessories, seen that he likes to apply an eclectic modern aesthetic of clean lines along with a rigorous selection of antiques, 20th and 21st-century masterworks.
