These are 5 of the top Exhibitors now at Design Miami 2019!Friday 6 December 2019
Design Miami has been having some remarkable moments during its 2019 edition. The top players regarding art and furniture displays are all there to show off the very best of the world of high design. Collectors, gallerists, and consumers are all welcome during this time of the year to discover the very best of this unique world. CovetED has gathered five of the top exhibitors present at the event that you need to see until the end of the week!
One of the top presences at Design Miami 2019 is AGO Projects decided to create a booth heavily inspired in Mexico city. This sensory experience will have you marvel at the unique hues and textures that make an odd yet striking match. The peculiar element of the scene is definitely Fernando Laposse’s glass-top hairy coffee, a pink fluffy table that one would love to have during tea time.
We’ve previously mentioned this incredible project between Arsham and Friedman Benda, however, the image above shows the clearer picture. The booth essentially consists of a space inspired by a unique domestic scenario heavily inspired by Daniel Arsham’s 1969 Long Island home by Norman Jaffe.
Of course, Friedman Benda has a couple of projects of their own! As you can see by the work done by architect Lelia Arruda, the incredible display of shapes, textures and colours captivates the unique styling of this lovely company. You can even find a couple of chairs from the Campana Brothers, Jonathan Trayte and Misha Kahn, leaving an incredible impact of colour and striking design for Design Miami 2019.
Of course, Todd Merril is another recurring presence in this event. For this year’s edition, they’ve decided to show off their Hannes Grebin sofas, three Bretch Wring Gander lamps, as well as other remarkably shaped furniture objects. One can definitely notice the remarkable detail in the oversized LED lamps which help to light up an incredible effect on the lamps, transmitting an out-of-earth sensation.
Last, but not least, The Future Perfect comes off with a couple of uniquely shaped design elements. The highlights here go to Chris Wolston’s humanlike wicker chairs, as well as Seungjin Yang’s balloon chairs. A comforting scenario meant for a hip ambience!
