Idéobain 2019 is definitely one of the main attractions when it comes to talking about the main trends for bathroom tendencies. The event has brought up a lot of inspiring moments, events and, above all, luxury bathroom trends not to be missed in the event. CovetED will show you what this year’s edition was all about.

Hosted at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center this event definitely managed to become a networking spot for all bathroom enthusiasts and businessmen. During the five days of the event, one could definitely find elements regarding the bathroom world. This included ceramic surfaces to wallpapers, parquet, marble and everything related to bathroom furnishings.

At the entrance of Hall 4, the attendants could attend a series of exciting conferences and award distributions. The themes of the conferences could be focused on specific types of products (such as bathroom equipment and amenities, sanitary devices and showers), as well as topics such as the evolution of the offer and layout in the bathroom, the role of the interior architect, and a series of pitches on different themes.

At Hall 3 one could definitely find some more inspiring topics, such as the importance of the silver economy in this sector, and a round table session focused on the new social trends at work and in life. In this very same area, you could find the inspiration area in which the best bathroom furniture was present to enchant the eyes of curious onlookers.

During Idéobain 2019 the winners of the Innovation Awards were honoured in a ceremony that took place during the second day of the event at the Forum Architecture Hall 5 (k115). Three brands were the winners of this competition: Jacob Delafon for their innovative installation system (also known as 5/35), Roca for its famous “Cratos” project (consisting of a new shower tray in Senceramic), and Prevex for their Preloc Multivalve, a universal siphon for sinks and basins.

However, these weren’t the only brands that had the honour of being recognized during Idéobain 2019. One of the incredible vessel sink design by Maison Valentina was considered one of the top products at Idéobain 2019 by the Conseil Français des Architectes d’Intérieur (CFAI) at Pole Action Espace Créateurs. CFAI is focused on distinguishing the best interior design experts in the industry, with the basis on individual professional competence.
