WantedDesign Manhattan 2019 – WantedDesign is more than a tradeshow, but a hub for conversations, a gathering of international actors, and a community: brands, designers, editors, curators, design lovers and schools altogether for a celebration of the design ethos. This year Ameico Classics, Autonomous Furniture, Calma, Cappellini, Cairopolitan, Flos, Lake & Wells, Maison Fragile, Muratto and Symbol Audio were some of the exhibitors present at the Terminal Stores.
WantedDesign Brooklyn 2019 – The event returned to Brooklyn’s Industry City with more participants than ever. Graduate students from over 30 international schools presented their work. The exhibition Shelter Fallout revolved around the project by Swiss designer Iskander Guetta Abri+ (Shelter+); the Eyes on Talents combined its prescriptive vision on creative talents to present Game changer NYC; the Bounce Station invited visitors to explore and perform new ways of sitting and Design Transforms showcased a civic engagement with Industry City and Sunset Park residents.
