Situated in the heart of Copenhagen, the four-star First Hotel Kong Frederik is the oldest hotel in the city, combining the personality of a boutique hotel with the services of an international hotel chain. This charming hotel, built in a nineteenth-century townhouse, has a very interesting aesthetic mixing a unique classical design with a modern and elegant atmosphere.
The amazing decor reminds the guests of another era through antique wooden furniture, old bookshelves and several paintings hanging on the walls, representing Danish royalty and hunting scenes. The vintage decoration and the candle lights reveal a mysterious atmosphere surrounding you with history and feeling like a king. Although the aristocratic name, the interior is not necessarily classic, it has a funny knight’s armour welcoming you in the lobby. So, yes, you’ll feel that medieval spirit but also a sense of modernity. As soon as we entered the hotel we knew that the medieval spirit was there but with a touch of refinement. Four buildings form the whole hotel, including an 850 square meter spa, where you’ll be treated as a king or queen: the area includes hot tub, sauna and fitness.

InterContinental Chicago was completed in 1929 and is located on the Chicago´s Magnificent Mile, the heart of the vibrant downtown and the fashion district. City’s finest shopping, entertainment and cultural attractions location, where The Art Institute of Chicago and Millennium Park are at the doorstep of the hotel. Originally, a 42-story building was commissioned by the Shriners Organization and designed by architect Walter W. Ahlschlager for the Medinah Athletic Club, an exclusive luxury men’s club. Tower combined elements of many architectural styles. Indian, Assyrian, Mesopotamian, Moorish cultures influenced interior and architectural elements were present in the luxurious building.

Located in the heart of Kiev, Ukraine, 11 Mirrors Design Hotel is the first and only design hotel in the country. Its 11 stores with panoramic views of this stunning capital will make you travel through a simplistic and peaceful set of mirrors and reflections, from the comfort of the rooms to the typical dishes of their traditional cuisine. The concept was created by Wladimir Klitschko, a Ukrainian sports superstar, who was eager to bring a modern touch to his favourite city.

Located in the heart of Fez, Morocco, in a former Arab-Moorish palace, the prestigious Palais Faraj & Spa offers a unique sense of refinement and comfort. The hospitality venue boasts magnificent views of the Medina. Built in the 19th century and renovated from 2007 to 2012, Palais Faraj is a symbol of architectural rarity, authenticity and elegance. Vienna, Austria
The listed Palais located in the first district has been built between 1869 and 1873, planned by Heinrich Förster and Theophil Edvard Hansen, who is known as one of the most important architects of Ring Boulevard (Parliament, the Vienna Music Society…). Originally planned as a hotel for the world exhibition in 1873 in Vienna, the Palais did not actually open as such. Just in 1997, when the City of Vienna sold the building, the Palais Hansen Kempinski Immobiliengesellschaft teamed up with the Kempinski Group to start their painstaking restoration and to remodel the building into a hotel.

Located in the historic 1st district, Boutique Hotel Topazz combines landmark architecture with a holistic, resource-saving philosophy that starts with low-energy usage and carries through to locally-sourced food or even the use of green building materials.
Designed by award-winning Viennese architects BWM Architekten & Partner and Architekt DI Michael Manzenreiter, the hotel pays a tribute to Vienna’s artistic heritage of the late 19th and early 20th century. The modern dark façade, dotted with large oval windows, is the brand image of the boutique hotel and inspires the interior, which reminded the architect and interior designer of a cylindrical silver vase gemmed with big oval amber stones by Viennese artist Koloman Moser. He carried on this theme inside and created interiors that pay homage to Moser and Dagobert Peche, two of Austria’s most iconic artists of the late 19th and early 20th century.
