WAVE by Graft: Dynamic Shape and Innovative DesignSaturday 29 October 2016
Graft‘s latest project design was this astonishing building called WAVE, which is a residential complex located on the banks of the River Spree in Berlin, Germany.
This building is completely inspired by the river and the focus is to provide a luxurious residential complex, where people will feel comfortable and happy.
The façade of WAVE has an organic shape, which is enhanced by the reflection of the waters. The entire glass façade allows the entrance of the sunlight that is reflected from the waves. The WAVE was designed to ensure that 70 percent of the apartments have spectacular views of the Spree River.
This project is a great combination of water, waves and light. Everything was designed to provide unspeakable sensations. The architecture of WAVE is a direct reflection of its attractive location on the River Spree, considered one of the most beautiful places in Berlin.
WAVE is an astonishing building both inside and outside. Outside we’ve already seen the avant-garde and futuristic design of Graft, but the inside is not left from behind. All the 161 studios, penthouses and flats interiors were designed by Graft, in collaboration with some of the most notable designers.
Inside the luxury and comfort are everywhere, as well as the amazing view over the River Spree. The penthouses have direct access to sun decks of the outdoor area, while the studios and flats can purchase their own private roof blocks with an upcharge.
The last floor of the WAVE building will be composed by gardens and a lounge space, which will become a place for natural relaxation and a truly green oasis at the heart of the city.
“Geometries, harmony and contrast all at once. The corners and edges give the apartments more space, special floor plans and above all, character.”
