The aim of “THE SHIFT” project was to follow the owner in his life changes – on both professional and personal levels. He was trying to leave a very rational, cartesian and immaterial work environment to join a world of concrete creations and achievements. In order to accomplish that, designer’s first choice was to use healthy materials like lime or mineral painting.
To follow Yin and Yang (one of Feng Shui fundamental principles), designers interlaced structured flat colors with a freely decorative painting – combining modern urban decoration with classic elements and pieces like the dining table lamp.
ETTA wall lamps by DelightFULL were the ones chosen to create “the link between the earth and the sky”. The headboard was carefully designed to match the lamps. According to Nicolas Berthou, lamps match the gold reflections and their matt aspect corresponds to the earth coating.
