Let’s take a look at a selection of resplendent machines.
Aston Martin DB5 – Goldfinger (1964)
Driven by Sean Connery, the astounding Aston Martin DB5 is recollected in the history books as the first car to be featured in a James Bond movie. The luxurious British automobile presents a timeless style coveted by any cars’ collector. The Brand Aston Martin made several appearances during the saga, including in the latest film, Spectre, showcasing a new prototype, the BD10. Daniel Craig is one lucky person if I dare to say.
BMW 750iL – Tomorrow Never Dies (2001)
One peculiar feature from this wonderfully engineered car is that he can be entirely steered from a mobile phone. The car was driven by actor, Pierce Brosnan in the 2001 feature, and at one point, he jumps uncontrollably out of the car so as to save his life which was quite the grasping scene.
Jaguar C-X75 – Spectre (2015)
This maximum velocity vehicle can accelerate like no other as it is able to go from 0 to 60 in a heart beat. It has a light carbon-fiber built. In addition, it fashions a vigorous orange shade which is simply stunning. In the picture above, you can see the incredibly talented British actress, Naomie Harris with a beautiful Jaguar besides her in an advertisement to promote the film and the car. The car was also a part of an insanely car chase between James Bond and the villainous Hinx, portrayed by Dave Bautista who was driving the car.
Rolls-Royce Phantom III – Goldfinger (1964)
The nefarious Auric Goldfinger played Gert Fröbe drove the yellow phantom. The luxury car has an overhead valve engine and is known for its strong port and gold ornamented exterior.
Lotus Esprit S1 – The Spy Who Loved Me (1977)
This astonishing vehicle gained a lot of fame after its appearance on the acclaimed series. It was fictionally modified throughout the action sequences of the film. Above, you can see the phenomenal duo Roger Moore and Barbara Bach posing with the car. Interestingly enough, the sports car was eventually customised into a submarine.
