Located in Filottrano, in the province of Ancona in Italy, the MSGM production site occupies an industrial facility of considerable size. The lobby of this industrial space was completely outdated and didn’t match the powerful and edgy image of MSGM. For that reason, this prominent brand hired renown architect Fabio Ferrilo to redesign the space and to give it a new look that matches MSGM identity.

The final result it’s outstanding. As expected, Ferrilo produced an amazing work of design that managed to give the outdated lobby the edginess of MSGM but without losing the touch with the original structure of the building.

The very own Fabio Ferrillo stated that his inspiration for this project was the luxury hotels in Tokyo, namely the attention to every detail that is given in those hospitality projects and that is combined with the freedom to create diagonal forms of light and matter.

We can see the direct result of this inspiration in one of the main highlights of the project. We are talking about a large diamond-shaped glass structure that marks the center of the lobby and houses a dense greenhouse. This green design clearly evokes de Japanese style mentioned by Ferrilo and gives the lobby a very unique and spectacular feature that dominates the entire area.

This powerful feature is used an ambiance element for a lobby that also features an elegant waiting room and a chic meeting space.  The hall also provides access to the main staircase, which with a game of diagonals in white marble, black stones and various glass, creates a new, current space.

As you can see, glass has also a great presence in the design. The use of glass creates the illusion of a bigger space and allows the greenhouse to shine and to be visible from all over the area as it should because it’s a sublime detail in a fantastic lobby.
