You didn’t think we were going to stop here, did you? We really want to be able to accompany you throughout this “working from home” process, but for those who did not follow the first article in this series and are not understanding what we are saying, we will contextualize you, don’t worry!
We know that it is very difficult to be at home at a time like this, and therefore, as more of us make the move to work from our property, for those who have to work from home, we have prepared a series of home offices to inspire you! Some of us must already have this experience on a daily basis and should not be a problem, but for some, the move is forcing us to create a workspace that feels right for working. We understand the importance that our mind has in our work so it is up to us to make an effort to sculpt method, discipline and feel good in this new and temporary workplace, but if the design is to our liking it can improve our creativity and our productivity as well! The main purpose of this collection is to inspire you through various environments, each adapted to a compatible personality. CovetED brings you round two, keep your eyes open, don’t dare to blink!

This office has a very unique feeling, glass and steel folding doors separate the drawing-room from the study. The desk has a simple but functional appearance, the chair and the patterns on the wall become the spotlight elements.

Douglas Mackie, the responsible interior designer, has an attraction for special minutiae on his works. An interesting element is the one that covers the walls, hand-glazed wallpaper which resembles flattened-out tobacco leaves.

The designer Harriet Anstruther made an incredible job by partnering with a “Bertoia Side Chair” from Skandium, for Caroline O’Donnell’s living room in her London flat. The simple and peaceful aesthetic that the environment transmits is more than beautiful.

This home office included in the bedroom was specifically requested by the architect’s (Daniele Petteno), client. The contemporary looks of the London flat include a built-in desk to the right of the access steps, made in European oak and treated with the same wax by Turgon used on the wooden flooring. The permanence of colours and material establishes a solid harmony.

The sturdy and antique writing desk sets the mood for the entire room with its personality. If you are a fan of glamorous classic old interiors, this one is for you. It also comes equipped with a mansion.

This also has a classic, rich and enviable content. In the study of this old French chateau, a ‘Boîte aux Lettres’ sits on the writing desk, which is beside a marble and wood whatnot topped with a crown feature.

This home is from west London and it is a Victorian townhouse that comes with a bohemian history. Its owners Linda and David Heathcot-Amory wanted to transform it into a carefully maintained family home with all the comforts. All its decoration results, everything is proportionally balanced.

The light emanating from the window illuminates the clean and polished office in Kim Wilkie’s London flat. And please, you can’t miss the stylish stationery holders, metal beer mugs.

You can find this child’s workspace that features a wooden chair with the respective plain desk in Jo Vestey’s farmhouse. Why not inspire your budding artist by granting them their own little office? It sure makes homework seem more appealing.

If you want clever design ideas, then you must see the Notting Hill home of restaurant owner Keith McNally. The space combines a very simple touch with a very artistic aspect that stands out.

Relaxing, colourful, harmonious and mostly healthy, that’s how we describe this space of Carskiey Estate. The solid furniture, the light that comes through the windows, the colours… we definitely need to highlight the colours again.
