GLISS MASTER Design by Vincent Van Duysen
The Gliss Master series of wardrobes, designed by Vincent van Duysen in 2016, extends its possibilities, offering a wardrobe with advanced features where the main focus is on the materials. Innovative finishes for the frame (Raffia), the back panels (Fine Grain or Raffia) and the doors (Graffiato bronze or silica). Absolute novelty: an all-glass back panel that is inserted into a metal frame where a patented hinge enables it to open 180°. Thanks to Glass doors and transparent glass side panels, fully glazed wardrobes can be achieved. Wood or lacquered doors with new (Niche) handles. New design for the raised sets of drawers, also in a double-sided version, featuring a practical handle (Hold) with Ecopelle or Fine Grain finish front panels. New Ecopelle and glass shelves with or without LED lighting.
ANTON Design by Vincent Van Duysen
A bed that perfectly expresses Vincent Van Duysen’s design philosophy, where essentiality and carefully chosen materials achieve a perfect synthesis. Delicate but clean lines for a harmonious aesthetic balance, the result of reducing anything superfluous. Carefully studied details with delicate but clear lines transmit an impact of fascinating charm and evoke strong suggestions of a decisive, contemporary furnishing scheme; the seams delicately outline the proportions. Volumes which are emphasized thanks to a particular type of stitching used for the headboard, the capitoné, revised in a contemporary way. Feet finished in pewter. Upholstery that can be completely detachable in the Molteni&C range of leather and textiles. Anton can be combined with a bench with identical frame finishings and matching upholstery.
TEOREMA Design by Ron Gilad
The Teorema project is the solid part of a void. It is the flip side of Grado°, the collection that explores the form of a void. It is the mould of design, the template transferred and shifted that becomes microarchitecture, and exceeds all disciplinary boundaries. A unit made of American walnut with open compartments or drawers used as a single unit or stacked in a linear or offset mode, to create night tables, chests of drawers or modular systems for the living area.
MAYFAIR Design by Rodolfo Dordoni
Combining geometric figures to create new geometric solids is not just an exercise for mathematicians. The most attentive designers, such as Rodolfo Dordoni, experiment with it too, giving rise to original items of furniture both in terms of conception and use. One such is the Mayfair collection, dining tables, small tables and countertops all share trapezoidal or truncated pyramid support plinths. The table bases feature glossy copper or orient grey marble finishes. The small table bases are glossy lacquered clay, anthracite or rust. The table tops are oval or square, with rounded edges, and made of eucalyptus or transparent grey layered glass complete with a glossy copper secondary layer that is placed exactly on top of the plinths. The same is true of the small table which, however, features a trapezoidal top with rounded edges.
