Michelin announced yesterday the world’s best restaurants. CovetED Magazine is thrilled to show you the Michelin starred restaurants in Portugal. This distinction is very important for the chefs and restaurants awarded, since it is the most important recognition in the gastronomy industry. Every chef dreams and works very hard to get his Michelin star, one day. But after getting the star, he needs to maintain it, so the hard work and the effort to be the best of the best is a continuous work. At the same time, Michelin starred restaurants and chefs are also part of the Michelin guide 2020 Portugal and this influences the touristic sector, since they become powerful touristic attractions. So scroll down and discover where you can go for the next refined meal.
After receiving its first Michelin star in 2017, the restaurant Casa de Chá da Boa Nova wins its second star. The announcement was made yesterday at Teatro Lope de Vega in Seville, Spain, to an audience of 500 people. 4 restaurants made their debut with the first star while three places lost their star. Portugal still doesn’t have a restaurant with three stars, but with the present rhythm, next year may be the one. But let’s see the awarded restaurants.
