From high technology to haute couture, the French hotel Le Louis Versailles Château now delivers an even more unique experience with the installation of its new custom I.RAIN lighting centrepiece, draping warm light over its classy bar.

Designed by Thierry Gaugain and Blackbody, I.RAIN falls like a shower of light, with each pendant spreading into a wide OLED base as if impacting upon an invisible surface. The I.RAIN family is available as retail products, ranging from 37 to 137 lights, as well as custom projects for staircases, showrooms, corridors and more. This composition can be adapted in size, height and number of OLED in order to fit any project. The I.RAIN product family offers a variety of finishes: classical (white painted brass), brass, glass, copper, chrome and black nickel.

Each architect and each designer can imagine and adapt I.RAIN to his client’s environment. Because of its modularity, the piece is reinvented for each space and brings technological innovation from the OLED to every new place. Like a silky veil, I.RAIN was also tailored and customized by Sundukovy Sisters – from Design & Architecture Studio – to suit the hotel Le Louis Versailles Château. Like a sun with metallic rays, this exclusive masterpiece now deploys its light rays over the bar, corresponding to the castle emblem as it drops below the glass roof.

The 4-star facilities invite you to discover a luxurious stay in a historic and remodelled hotel where age periods get together, combining contemporary elegance with classic refinement. Lighting is a true highlight here, giving this luxury setting a magical and comfortable aura – from the gilded and mirrored terrace to the lights that illuminate the hotel facade at night, and now the fabulous chandelier in the stylish bar.
