Explorer-Themed Bronte Restaurant from Tom DixonTuesday 19 July 2016
Luxury British design brand Tom Dixon is on the stages again with its latest project Bronte Restaurant on The Strand, in London under the creative direction of the star brand.
Tom Dixon has worked with his architectural interiors practice Design Research Studio on this project, which is to transform a Regency building into Bronte Restaurant. The location of the restaurant is also great, that is overlooking to impressive Trafalgar Square.
The inside of the building is anchored by its key structures, which are a pink concrete breakfast bar, a green granite kitchen, a pewter cocktail bar and custom furniture that includes jade-green leather banquet seating.
Tom Dixon has mentioned on the project as: “We’ve added some fixed architectural elements like a big pink concrete bar at the front and a big pewter bar at the back, both of which are substantial and will age gracefully and bed in. I like things that feel like they have a sense of permanence, and I think that place demands it really.”
Bronte Restaurant’s theme is on a historical travel and exploration, which comes in the form of a cabinet of curiosities, that a way of displaying collections of objects that emerged in the 16th century.
The biggest standalone restaurant & bar project of the luxury brand has opened its door to the dearest guests on the beginning of July, and from that time its make The Strand more alive with its stand.
