Taking place at the Tokyo Big Sight, otherwise known as the Tokyo International Exhibition Center, the prestigious DESIGN TOKYO, which is the leading trade fair in Japan, is set to occur from 5-7 July for its 8th edition, providing, once again, the best“marketable” design products. Organised by Reed Exhibitions Japan, Ltd., the annual event offers a wide variety of opportunities, as a result, visitors can expect the freshest as well as the most sophisticated and functional products within the design and lifestyle industries. Throughout this article, you’ll see a series of pictures of what to expect to see at the event, so be prepared to be marvelled.

It is a wonderful trade fair that gathers numerous key buyers which in turn discover new vendors. Design Tokyo will open at 10 a.m and close at 18 p.m, with the exception of the last day which closes at 17 p.m.

Design Tokyo has established a Screening Committee, comprised of experienced design professionals that approve the product in order to maintain the high-quality of the exhibitions. Kazuo Kawasaki, Fumio Takashima, Michelle Millar Fisher and Tomomi Nagayama are the four specialists that represent this committee.

Held under the umbrella of GIFTEX 2017, altogether with its concurrent shows, including the International Stationery & Office Products Fair Tokyo as well as Promotional Goods Expo, the show is expected to approximately attract 2,640 exhibitors and 100,000 professional visitors from Japan and all over the world.  Here you can find the full list of exhibitors.
