The premiere of the Design District 1010 Messe für Living & Lifestyle is occurring from 6 to 8 October in Vienna’s Classiest region, the Hofburg. Over three days, the First District of Vienna will become a hotspot for anyone sharing a singular passion: the desire to discover design in all its facets. During exhibiting schedule, the entire district will be transformed into a vast walk-in design showroom and a series of national and international premium brands were selected to exhibit their products in a luxurious environment.

From the Hofburg, visitors will be able to use a design guide as well as a comprehensive signage and orientation system to move seamlessly through the First District into the Design Grätzl, where they can experience high-quality design. ‟Our aim is to combine high-value brands with a design-savvy target audience, and to surprise in a skilful way,” disclosed Sabine Jäger and Peter Syrch, the organisers of Design District 1010.

Novelties from some 80 national and international brands will be presented at the Hofburg itself, over 5,000 square metres of floor space, in sections including Interior, Lifestyle, Mobility, Hi-Fi, Art, and Accessories. Brands such as Minotti, Range Rover, Fritz Hansen, KFF, USM, VI Spring, Walter Knoll, Steininger Designers, Formdepot  and COR Interlübke will be representing the show’s fine essence. However, visitors can also expect to see Klafs, Maf, German artist Marco Mehn and Austrian artist Andreas Reimann.

Besides the introduction of new products, there is also a special range of services for children in the Play Area, and visitors can have the most relaxing moments at the Gerstner Kunstcafé.

At Design District 1010, design enthusiasts are welcomed to discover out more about the most recent trends in the design industry while strolling through the inspiring exhibition and in Design Grätzls, such as the Börseviertel and Ring. One will truly be able to experience design with all of their senses at Vienna Holfburg’s first Design District trade fair.
