First showcased at Milan Design Week in April 2018, the latest Atelier Swarovski home decor collections include collaborations with British architectural designer John Pawson and Japanese studio Nendo. John Pawson’s ‘Vessels’ collection is a series of considered and minimalist candle holders, vases and bowls in Clear crystal, designed with fine, irregular facets; and Nendo’s ‘Softpond’ collection is a series of solid crystal bowls inspired by water and nature, available in Montana Blue or Emerald crystal.
Alongside the designer collaborations, Atelier Swarovski presents its debut in-house collection. Designed under the creative direction of Nadja Swarovski, the collection includes a wide range of home decor pieces, from scented candles, trays and jewelry boxes to desktop accessories, vases and candle holders, showcasing Swarovski’s 120-year heritage of crystal creativity and amazing craftmanship.
Also on show are collections from 2016 and 2017, including a range of colourful and sleek pure-crystal paper weights by Studio Brynjar and Veronika; American interior design icon Barbara Barry’s series of multi-functional candle holders and vases in mellow hues; a multi-textured collection of boxes and candle holders by New York architect Andre Kikoski; a series of vases, bottle toppers and playful paper weight lenses by Aldo Bakker; a championship-size chess set in crystal and mixed materials by Daniel Libeskind, based on his most iconic buildings; Fredrikson Stallard’s fluid crystal collection of vases, bowls and candle holders; and Tord Boontje’s futuristic crystal lanterns.
