The designer’s goal was to create a beautiful and serene space for a young, creative girl. It’s a small apartment with well-placed mirrors which expand the walls and amplify the light. The interior design aimed to maintain the balance between the calm, creative energy and the purposed, functional details.
According to the designer, she chose to be an interior design due to her “will of making the world better.”, adding, “I really enjoy to see the transformation of the space, to realize the difference between the before and after.“
When asked about her most unusual project, the designer responded: “I think the exhibition spaces and trade-shows are the most unusual ones, in living spaces I can’t have the same projection of my wild ideas.“
Regarding her inspirations, the designer says “I think it comes naturally from daily life and the details around us. It’s also very important to rest and relax, otherwise, we can lose the source of this simple inspiration.”
When asked “If you had a chance to create an interior for a celebrity/historical character, who would it be and why?”, the designer says “I would love to create an interior design for a beautiful diva like Monica Belucci, preferably somewhere in one of the Italian islands.“
When asked “Do you have any favourite materials or brands which you like working with the most”, the designer responded “Materials like wood, stone, metal, silk, wool and mostly – velvet! About brands, I really like BRABBU and its style! I also like creating furniture myself!“
Regarding international events, the designer says “I think Maison et Objet is one of the most inspiring tradeshows, which is at the same time very informative. I also like High Point Market.“
When asked “In your opinion, which trends in the interior design world are waiting for us in the next 5 years? What should we expect?”, the designer says “I think one of the most important aspects will be the functionality of the interior items. Also, the production cost optimisation and the 3D printing will have an impact in the future.”
When it comes to her favourite interior design styles, the designer loves the Neoclassic, contemporary classic style. Regarding the interior design brand Brabbu, the designer says “It’s a very trendy and inspiring brand!“
