To create the most majestic ready-to-wear clothing, Cucinelli and his team use cashmere as their main material. While this may be rather traditional, they are able to modernise it by combining it with modern colours and immeasurable attention to detail. Cucinelli believes that using a material of this nature allows pieces to become timeless, as you can easily pass from generation to generation.
Quite recently, Brunello Cucinelli launched the Spring Collection 2018 that blends a series of aspects, from tribalism with urban culture, exoticism as well as local traditions. Through earth tones, rich textures, and delicate yet polished decorations, the collection for both men and womenswear is characterized by a sense of softness, sensuality and a sporty-chic vibe.
In addition to his clothing lines, Cucinelli is also in touch with the arts, having chaired multiple foundations in Solomeo, like the School of Arts and Crafts and the Cucinelli Theatre. The Latter is an astonishing building that perfectly blends the future with history through a modern and versatile structure, “The Theatre represents my project for three centuries. What I wanted to realise with its construction was a secular temple for the arts of Solomeo.”
