Lisboa Design Show is known as Portugal’s biggest design exhibition. Returning for its 8th edition to Feira Internacional de Lisboa (FIL), the prestigious event specialises on visual design, product design, fashion design, and interior design. This year’s edition will take place from 18-22 October 2017, and in this article, COVETED will be speaking about the two fashion events, Trends LXD and Africa Fashion as well as fashion-related exhibitors that will be showcasing at the event.

The fashion sector is one of the most dynamic areas of LXD. It concentrates multiple derivations of the universe of fashion, clothing, footwear, accessories, and jewellery. This democratic space aims not only towards experienced designers but also emerging talent who are seeking for the opportunity to launch new products and collections.

Trends LXD seeks to unveil collections from ingenious and emerging designers to an audience of industry professionals, opinion-makers, fashion lovers and the general public. This valuable segment of LXD allows Portugal’s most creative minds in the world of fashion to present their runway collections in a professional and glamorous environment.

Africa Fashion is dedicated to promoting the brilliant work of African fashion designers, based in Portugal or not, both nationally and internationally. During the 5-day event, fashion professionals, bloggers, the media and the general public pay close attention to the latest trends of African fashion and design. Mozambican stylist, Nivaldo Thierry is expected to present his new collection.
