The iconic Hermès Birkin bag, originally designed for the actress Jane Birkin, is now one of the most desirable and sought after bags in the world. The ravishing Hermès Himalaya Birkin Bag is considered the Holy Grail in a Handbag collection and is made of Nilo crocodile, rendered in a subtle coloration that is meant to evoke images of the majestic Himalayan Mountains. It features 18-karat white gold hardware studded with white diamonds and a Cadena lock with 68.4 grammes of 18-karat white gold and encrusted with 40 white round brilliant diamonds, totaling 1.64 carats. On the bag, three different structural elements – the Touret, the Pontets, and the Plaques de Sanglons – feature more than 200 diamonds for a total of 8.2 carats. This is arguably the rarest, most spectacular, and most jaw-dropping Birkin to ever be made, and it is likely the only time a bag of this calibre will be offered on the luxury resale market.
Marketed as ‘The divine diamond twins’ by Sotheby’s, they were valued at £55 million (or a little over $71 million US), which makes them the world’s most expensive earrings, by a long margin. These exquisite two brightly coloured diamonds were named Apollo and Artemis and were cut and polished luxuriously to adorn a very lucky lady’s ears. Artemis is a fancy 16-carat Intense pink diamond, while the Apollo is considered to be a 14.54-carat Fancy Vivid blue diamond.

The French luxury label has just unveiled the incredible Louis Vuitton Tambour Horizon, representing the brand’s unique approach to smartwatches. The company’s iconic timepiece, the Tambour, has been beautifully converted into a digital wonder, displaying a 42 mm case that’s wider near the case back, with concave sides and the same stylish look we’ve been used to. Available in either a brushed, satin finished stainless steel case, or a black PVD-finished stainless steel version, the watch sports a sapphire crystal with a fixed 24-hour flange ring underneath it. It is even water resistant to 30 meters, although an IP rating has yet to be provided. The Tambour Horizon benefits from Google and Qualcomm Technology expertise, running on Android Wear 2.0, which means you’ll easily get e-mail and text alerts, it could count your steps and it comes with a wide variety of additional apps. In terms of display, Louis Vuitton’s smartwatch has an AMOLED touchscreen and a resolution of 390 by 390 pixels.
