The Stage is a tradition for IMM Cologne when it comes to lectures about the latest and hottest furniture trends of the moment. All days of the event will be invaded by numerous designers and interiors professionals who will be sharing their knowledge with visitors free of charge. CovetED will show you a little of what you can expect from the event.

Every day The Stage will be turning Koelnmesse’s Hall 3.1 into a top hotspot where all topics related to furniture and interior design will be discussed at IMM Cologne 2020. It will be a unique spot for architects, interior decorators, designers and journalists to trade many relevant pieces of information and engage in a series of networking activities.

Among some of the most relevant speakers that will be present of the event, we can highlight Giulio Cappellini, the current art director of Cappellini. The Italian designer will be journalist Barbara Friedrich’s guest at the 2020 edition of Designer’s Talk. Another relevant presence will be that of “Das Haus” designers Alberto Sánchez and Eduardo Villalón from the MUT studio who will be presenting the concept for their living space installation.

There will also be a lot of topics in more than one open discussion at IMM Cologne 2020. For example, Alberto Sánchez and Eduardo Villalón (Spain), Nada Borgi and Etienne Bastormagi (Lebanon) and Therese and Regina Virserius (USA) will be speaking on the subject of layout and the use of space in interior design. Others such as Philippe Malouin (Canada), Rahul Das, Sean Sutcliffe, Gavin Munro (all from the UK) and David Venables (USA) will be focusing their talks on the matter of sustainability

This peculiar forum will also have an exciting programme in store in regards to the public days of the fair. In this case, it will be an initiative in which interior designers and other design professionals will be available to provide end consumers hints and tips on interior decor overall. These professionals are available to talk on matters of the impact of colours and provide the best advice on the best ways to furnish bedrooms and other home divisions.
