Art Basel has been active since 1970 and it has always been a place where galleries and collectors could present high-quality pieces and discuss the magnificence of design, alongside critics and curators. At the present time, Art Basel has an overall account of three fairs, one in Switzerland, other in Miami Beach, and lastly one in Hong Kong.

Miami Beach provides the best artistic exhibitions by displaying contemporary and modern work of 269 prestigious galleries from North America, Latin America, Africa, Asia, and Europe. The exhibitions, whether on the interior or exterior, range from photography to film, to sculptures, to paintings, to installations, to prints, to digital art, among countless others. The phenomenal event receives over 70000 visitors every year.

In this year’s edition, Miami Beach organised a film program that will showcase over fifty international features.

It will also dispose of sector Nova which was created uniquely for designers to present their most recent work. The event is also going to explore others, such as Kabinett and Survey, the first one consists of thematic exhibitions whereas the second one of historical and cultural projects, although they are extremely connected.

A design event would not be considered as such without its conventional talks. Take a look at one of last year’s conversations featuring artists Trevor Paglen and Jenny Holzer:

It is the perfect exhibition for people to enjoy the fine arts, culture, and history while being surrounded by a cool and calm environment near the beaches of Miami. So make sure you not to miss this years’ edition.
